Rahima Nasa Kazmi is the Impact and Communication Manager at The Marshall Project.Rahima has spent the bulk of her career telling stories across mediums because she strives to meet audiences where they’re at. She’s written about how police fail to investigate hate crimes for ProPublica. She’s produced a narrative podcast with John Carreyrou about Elizabeth Holmes’ criminal trial. Her work on the Frontline documentary, “Fire in Paradise,” was nominated for an Emmy in 2020. A story she co-produced for the program about a daughter's journey to rebuild her relationship with her father after he was incarcerated won a Gracie Award in 2023.Her work in audio has appeared in NPR, Sony Music, and Pushkin Industries. Rahima has served as a mentor for WNYC’s Radio Rookies program, which gives teens and young adults the tools and training to create radio stories about themselves and their communities.
